Is this a ploy?

I bought this game a while ago and had since then deleted it. Today, I go to re-download MC4 but alas, the download freezes, not even budging a millimetre. Just wondering if this was a marketing ploy to screw over MC4 players to try to get them to download the horrible MC5? Ive been reading the reviews and I know Im not the only one being screwed over. If need be, Ill be fighting for a refund.
